Request account & data deletion

This page explains how to permanently delete your Miray account and the data associated with it. Miray is operated by an independent developer (ProgFa).

Fastest: delete it yourself in the app

You can permanently delete your account and all its data from inside Miray — no email and no waiting:

  1. 1Open Miray and go to Settings.
  2. 2Scroll to the Danger zone at the bottom and tap the Delete my account button.
  3. 3Type your email to confirm. Your account and data are erased immediately and you are signed out.

Alternative: request by email

If you cannot access the app, or you only want part of your data removed, email us so we can verify the request comes from the account owner:

  1. 1Send an email to mayintokyo27@gmail.com from the email address registered to your Miray account.
  2. 2Use the subject line: "Delete my Miray account".
  3. 3Include the email address of the account you want deleted. No other information is required.
  4. 4We verify ownership and delete the account within 7 days. You will receive a confirmation email once it is done.

What gets deleted

When your account is deleted, the following are permanently removed:

  • Your account (email, display name, encrypted password).
  • Your family workspace and baby profile (name, date of birth, photo).
  • All tracking events you logged — feeding, diapers, sleep, growth, medication, temperature, pumping.
  • Your AI assistant (Nora) conversation history.
  • Your community posts and comments.

What is retained, and for how long

Payment and invoice records associated with subscriptions or donations are retained by our payment processor (Stripe) for the period required by financial and tax law (typically up to 7 years). Miray does not store card numbers. Backup copies containing your data are purged within 30 days of deletion. After that, no personal data remains.

Shared family data

If you shared a family workspace with a co-caregiver, deleting your account removes your access. Data the family still needs may remain visible to the other caregiver who owns it; contact us in your request if you need the entire family workspace removed.
